Rate of record
About this site
An independent dated rate-of-record for the UK National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage. Built and maintained by Digital Signet.
Why this exists
GOV.UK publishes the statutory rates correctly but with no decision support. The Low Pay Commission publishes the policy reasoning correctly but without the practical calculator tools. The buyer - a payroll lead on 1 April or a worker checking a payslip after a birthday - wants both, plus a dated freshness stamp they can trust.
Editorial independence
No affiliate links, no sponsored content, no paid placements. The site is funded by Digital Signet's wider portfolio. There is no upsell, no email gate, no cookie tracking beyond the basics.
Verifier
Editor and named verifier: Oliver Wakefield-Smith, founder of Digital Signet. The VerifiedStamp at the top of every page carries the date and signer.
Contact
Corrections, suggestions or rate questions: oliver@digitalsignet.com. The site is built to be corrected in the open and the /changelog records every rate update.
Not legal advice
This is independent published information, not legal or tax advice. If you face a specific NMW dispute, take Acas guidance or specialist legal advice before acting.
